Downtown Dade City's Halloween Spooktacular
Businesses and Vendors
There are lots of ways to participate in the Downtown Spooktacular. From sharing treats with your community, decorating your window, or simply sponsoring in some way to get you business/organization name out there. Read through the list of ways to get involved then fill the form out below to join in on the fun.
Any Dade City organizations that are not walkable, or that don't have a brick-and-mortar, are invited to join us in Agnes Lamb Park.
Trick or Treat Stop
Businesses distribute candy and/or dog treats to trick-or-treaters and will be included on our sidewalk chalk art “treat trail”. to mark you as designated stop on the treat trail. This event will be advertised as 10:00AM-1:00PM.
Storefront Decorating Contest
FOR DOWNTOWN BRICK & MORTAR BUSINESS ONLY. Decorate your storefront to compete for the “Most Spirited Display” award. A great way to add to the ambience of the day too!
Sponsorship
Businesses can be represented on the promotional treat bags and/or the banner through sponsorship. The treat bags will be distributed to the first 75 trick-or-treaters in the park, and the sponsor's logo will be displayed in the park during the event. The DJ will also announce/promote sponsors throughout the event. In addition to sponsoring the bags and/or banner, businesses can sponsor a prize for the costume, pumpkin decorating, or storefront decorating contests; this type of sponsorship can be monetary or in the form of a gift basket/gift card/product etc. For either sponsorship option simply indicate yes and we will reach out personally about how you would like to sponsor.
Promotional Materials
Businesses can contribute coupons/advertisements/small promotional materials to be included in the treat bags. This is a great opportunity to advertise any other events/discounts/promotions that your business is offering that day.
Sidewalk Chalk Trail Artist
We are creating a chalk art “trail” for trick-or-treaters to follow to find participating trick-or-treat stops. If you are interested in being a chalk artist, please check the "volunteer" box as well.
Volunteer
Volunteer your time to distribute treat bags, keep trick or treaters moving, monitor the costume contest or pumpkin patch, or help with the family activities in Agnes Lamb Park.
